This project on Pleasant Lake, Michigan was all about building clean, functional outdoor spaces that work with the property instead of fighting it. We installed custom Unilock paver patios and walkways that wrap the house and connect the outdoor areas naturally. Large steps and outcropping-style walls were used to handle the grade changes while keeping everything easy to access and comfortable to use.

 

We also added custom basalt water features throughout the landscape to bring movement and sound into the space without taking away from the lake views. A lot of attention went into layout and plant selection so the hardscape didn’t feel heavy. The goal was to soften the stone, frame the patios, and make the entire yard feel finished but still natural.

 

The end result is a high-end lakefront landscape that’s clean, durable, and built to last. This project is a good example of custom lakefront hardscape and landscape work on Pleasant Lake, Michigan, where material choice, layout, and attention to detail all mattered.
