Outdoor Impressions is a Michigan-based design-build company that builds permanent outdoor spaces. We specialize in patios, retaining walls, step systems, and ICF pool projects, built with an emphasis on accuracy, functionality, and long-term performance.
Founded in 2013, we approach outdoor construction differently than most contractors. Design, layout, excavation, and construction are handled in-house, using professional survey equipment and modern machinery so elevations, drainage, and transitions are resolved before work begins.
Our work ranges from focused specialty installations to complex outdoor builds that integrate hardscapes, grading, and ICF pool projects. Regardless of scope, our process remains the same: careful planning, precise execution, and materials selected for durability—not convenience.

Every wall begins with accurate layout and elevation planning using professional surveying equipment and design software. We pre-build each wall digitally to confirm elevations, quantities, and layout before construction begins. During installation, walls are built with proper base preparation, geogrid reinforcement where required, correct stone backfill, and thorough compaction to ensure long-term performance and stability.
